An Arched Garden

Spring is awaiting and the flowers are poking their heads up to snif the air. Can't wait until the garden is in full bloom but that is months away. So enjoy this lovely arched garden from Smith & Hawken.

I so adore the whiff of roses and lilacs in spring, drinking in their perfume on a sunny day while the butterflies flutter with delight...the birds singing their love songs upon the wind and the bunnies hopping with renewed spirit.

Oh Happy Spring do show yourself!

Blue Birds, nothing but blue skies...

Well, they are not all blue but they are birds and it's time for them to come home for the Spring & Summer...

I made the blue felt blue bird and plan on making her some companions soon. Right now I have been working on another project that should be completed any time now so I can start on my birds and hopefully come up with a bunny I like.

This lovely bird is sitting in a realy bird's nest I found on the ground last summer after a windy storm. Poor bird...happy me. It was on the ground completely abandoned so I thought it would make a wonderful display in this bird bath that stays in the house.

Are we not all ready for Spring and all the glorious birds, butterflies and green grass? I know I am and can hardly wait another day for it to finally be here. For now, I will just have to listen to the Robin that sits in the nest until the real Robins are back.

Sending kind thoughts your way, Kindredly, Lynne Laura

Don't Be Mislead Like I was...

One of my very recent posts talked about French bowls and linens and to purchase them at Touch of Europe because they had the best prices. Well I received mine today...guess what?

The bowls are made in Thailand and the towels in India. If you are looking for REAL European items, this is not the place to buy the featured items.

Sorry, didn't know.

A Little More Red...& Pink

Recently, I received the latest issue of Romantic Homes and they had these lovely French bowls and I just love them...I am on my way to order them. How about the rest of you red & pink lovers?

Which ones would you get?

HINT: Be a smart shopper and shop around for these, as I know you all are, the prices vary on these little gems. I purchased mine at A Touch of Europe, their linens are fab too!....free shipping in USA over $50. It was the best deal I found. One site had the bowls $3 more each plus shipping. Mine have already shipped are suppose to be here on the 17th. Now that is a sweet deal with fast shipping at no charge.

If you don't already receive Romantic Homes, you might want to check on this magazine. I rarely get an issue I am not thrilled with.

I'm Seeing Red

Lovely red door & fence in Ireland...no, it wasn't me in Ireland taking this picture.

I'm trying to convince one of my blogger friends to start hosting a red day...this is a little encouragement for her...

What a fantastic vintage bike, would love to own that and ride it around without a care in the world...look out a mad driver coming through!

Red is so cheery and fun and we can use a bit of that. Ode to Red and it's powerful spirit and the excitement it ignites in us.

Dreaming of Spring

Spring has not sprung here in MI, it was 35 degrees here today and I am rather sick of it -major cabin fever. We had a big tease of 50 degrees the other day and that was all it was, a big tease. So Happy Pre-Spring to all of you waiting as I am for it's arrival.
