The elves are busy around my house and know that Santa is gathering all the toys for all the kiddies. It's time to decorate.

Christmas 26 Days, A Christmas List Keeper

Just something I made recently that has helped me a great deal. A Christmas List Keeper.

I made tags (see previous post) and pasted them in this journal and have been able to keep track of everything...so far!

Christmas gifts,where to purchase them (best prices) recipients, upcoming events, recipes I plan on making this holiday season, etc. It is fabulous to have everything in one place for a change.

I made an inside pocket for misc. notes and the back cover has a full length pocket for recipes I pick up, sales receipts, magazine cutouts for ideas, anything. It's been a life savor. I usually start Christmas shopping for the next year the day after Christmas and it's be great to know what I already have on hand. Best of all it is light weight and fits in my handbag easily so I have it whenever I go shopping.

FABULOUS...I was jumping for joy in my family room last night when Donny won. How terrific was it that he ran right over and picked up his wife and carried her out onto the dance floor...he is all class.

It's Coming...Lovely Trees

Went blogging around and saw some bottlebrush trees and just had to add a pic I found on flicker from Full of Bliss...isn't this lovely?

I've been working on my Christmas lists and gathering goodies to make gifts this year and having so much fun doing it. I love the creative process but sometimes my brain goes on overload and all these ideas come zooming in and then something goes haywire. Does this happen to you?

Finding My Way...

Well, I know I will always be a work in progress and so will my blog, but I also know I haven't found my way yet. Know what I mean? All the blogs I go to theladies have found their way and I am still exploring mine. Some people instantly know their way, you know who they are but that isn't me. Never has been for one reason or another...I ponder, putter and explore for some time...sometimes I am quite late to the show.

I received this book today from Amazon, "Blogging for Bliss", and am hoping this will help me on my journey. It's been recommended by others I know so I am plunging into it's pages to find improvements for myself.

I am good at taking an idea and putting my own touches on it. I excel at that, but I feel creating from nothing is not something I possess. That is fine though, as many creative people see something and are inspired by it and discover their own take on it...I am just another one in that clan.

Hoping you will stop by & check me out as I explore and make changes, and that you will give me a chance to find my way. I'm Dreaming of Christmas...Already

I know, I know, it is early but I am so in the spirit this year and have been a busy girl starting my Christmas projects.


Believe it or not, I have most of my Christmas shopping done now and my list is complete. That's for another post though...
